I was using a kitchen table as an ironing board, I put a towel on top to protect the surface and proceeded to iron. I used a steam iron, When I removed the towel there were white marks left on the varnished surface of the table. How do I remove these marks? Will the mayonnaise remedy work for this situation?

since it’s varnish, i think you’ll have to repaint the table.
i have no idea if it’s necessary though… i’ll give you a star, something better might come up.
