I Just Got A Cast Iron Panini Press As A Gift, And I Am Wondering If It’s Okay To Heat It On My Ceramic Stove?

   Cast iron usually doesn’t sit perfectly flat, so it doesn’t make good contact with the burner. And as another post mentions, cast iron can and will scratch your surface.
   I LOVE my stove, but it does restrict cookware use.
