I have very curly coarse hair i need a straighting balm that i can put on my hair before flat ironing it so my hair can stay straight longer. I usually see waves on my hair the next day i flat iron. It's frustrating so there i go flat ironing it again. I want something that will make the hair stay straight longer any suggestions. There are so many out there i don't know which one to choose.

This is how it usually goes:
I wash my hair. I condition it. I deep condition it. I wrap it and put a silk sash on it for the night. When it is dry and I take the wrap down, it is silky and bouncy, but slightly fluffy. So I decide flat iron it. By the time I am done, it looks dried out and lifeless. What products can I use on my hair before flat ironing or putting heat to it in order to prevent this?
